Biography
Carolina Isach is a Spanish choreographer and dancer born in Valencia. She trained at the Conservatory of Dance of Valencia and continued her studies at Scaena Carmen Roche in Madrid.
She began her career in classical dance and later developed a strong contemporary practice, working across both languages throughout her career. She has danced with Ballet Carmen Roche, Ballet Madrid, Landestheater Linz, and the Ballet of the National Theatre of Brno. She performed a wide range of repertoire, from classical works and George Balanchine to contemporary creations by Pascal Touzeau, Tony Fabre, Lukáš Timulak, Dan Datcu, Marek Svobodník, Petr Zuska, Nacho Duato, Jiří Kylián, and Mario Radačovský, among others.
During her time in Brno, under the direction of Mario Radačovský, she began choreographing, creating works for the Young Choreographers’ Evenings and later for the company’s repertoire, including Solipsistic, Gaslight, and Noosfera. She has been a two-time finalist at the Burgos–New York International Choreography Competition with Gaslight and Teatro, and her work has been presented at festivals such as Migrats Valencia (2023), Florence Dance Festival (2022), and DFERIA Donosti (2022).
In 2024, she created Distant Instant for Ballet NdB 2 in Brno, opening the Next Generation Festival at the Royal Opera House in London.
Her latest work, JARO, was developed for the interdisciplinary collective Fluo and premiered in September 2025 at the Monastery of Plasy (Czech Republic), as part of a site-specific project exploring the relationship between body, architecture, and nature.
In parallel with her choreographic practice, she is the founder of TAGLESS (2026), a platform focused on artistic creation and collaboration. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Choreography from the Conservatorio Superior de Danza Nacho Duato in Valencia.
A versatile artist, she develops her own projects while working as a choreographer and coach.
